Dr. Alexander Borek is in his current role the Head of Smart Data & Analytics at Volkswagen AG. Before, he advised Forbes 500 companies in multiple industries with regards to their digital transformation, data governance and Big Data Analytics innovation strategy. He has worked as a consultant at Gartner and IBM and as a research associate at Cambridge University. He is a recognized international thought leader in data strategy, author of the books “Total Information Risk Management” and “Marketing with Smart Machines” and of many research articles, and a sought after conference speaker. Dr. Borek is a proud affiliated faculty member of the Information Quality Graduate Program at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock.
